Through sharing compelling stories and igniting their passions, Huskies can harness the power of UConn Nation to raise money for everything from groundbreaking research to scholarships, club trips, uniforms and conferences.
Any student, faculty, staff, alumni, or approved volunteer can apply to champion the cause most important to them on Raise UConn.
Donors can support as many causes as they choose. All non-Athletics gifts are tax-deductible and donors will receive tax receipts from the UConn Foundation for each gift. Donors to Athletics-related funds should refer to the UConn Athletics and Athletics Points Information regarding priority points.

What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is the act of raising money by asking for relatively small donations from a large number of people.
Who can participate in crowdfunding on Raise UConn?
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, or approved volunteers can apply to raise money for an established fund at the UConn Foundation.
How do I contribute to a campaign on Raise UConn?
Giving is easy! Simply click the “Make a gift” button on the campaign you wish to support and complete the online donation form.
Are contributions returned if a campaign does not reach its fundraising goal?
No, all funds are applied to the fundraising purpose stated on the campaign page at the time of your donation. If funds raised exceed the set goal, or if the goal is not met, donations will be used for the general purpose of the University program, department, college, or specific Foundation fund your gift was intended to support.
Is my contribution publicly displayed?
By default, your name is publicly displayed on the pages of campaigns that you have supported. However, you may make any gift anonymous by selecting “Keep My Donation Anonymous” at the time of checkout.
Are Raise UConn contributions tax-deductible?
Yes, your gift is tax-deductible. After making a gift you will receive a confirmation email that serves as your receipt for tax purposes.
Note on Athletics gifts: If you choose to waive Athletics priority seating points and other related benefits, your gift may be deductible as a charitable gift for federal income tax purposes up to 100 percent or the maximum allowed by federal law. Consult your tax advisor.
Is it possible to make a gift by mail or phone?
While it is strongly encouraged that you make your gift online, you can also make a gift via mail or phone. Please send your check to the following address, made payable to the “University of Connecticut Foundation, Inc.”:
